"Touch" featuring Helen Gillet

How have human beings continued to "touch" one another in the unprecedented absence of physical touch? Mélange Dance Company presents a collaboration of live music and dance with singer/songwriter and cellist Helen Gillet, featuring the return of "L'éternelle Fiancé" with a new twist! New works in progress further explore the multifaceted spirit of the wild woman and her inner power that unleashes once the intuitive call to the wild is answered. When thrown wildly off course, we examine our patterns and how we might shift to new ways of being, honoring the perseverance of the human spirit that endures when we focus on the universal theme of love. In an era of touch deprivation, the arts have proved to have an innate power to nurture our souls. Come reconnect with us through live music, dance, and nature set in the beautiful Longue Vue Gardens!
