Join us for the NOWFE Wine Dinner Series. Dine with friends and make new ones, while learning about Paul Hobbs wine and food pairings directly from the winery and the chefs that crafted them.
Shortly after receiving his MS in Viticulture and Enology from the University of California, Davis joined the enology team at Robert Mondavi Winery and later was invited by Robert Mondavi to be on the inaugural team of Opus One. The first trip to Argentina in 1988 marked the beginning of a South American winemaking career that carries on today with his wines from Vina Cobos. and his legendary status as the pioneer who launched Malbec's rise to fame.
Today, Paul is the owner and the winemaker for Sebastopol, California -based wineries, Paul Hobbs and Crossbarn, Hillick & Hobbs in the Finger Lakes, New York; as well as his international partnerships, Vina Cobos, Crocus, Yacoubian-Hobbs, and Alvaredos-Hobbs.
