He wanted to get to know her, to call her Baby. But at what price? Set in a bar somewhere between Then & Now. This is a journey with a map traveling back into the underbelly of enslavement.

Set in present time in a Jazz club owned by Tootsie an African American woman often referred to as cold or worse. Closer to the truth Tootsie is the vessel for her once enslaved ancestor still seeking voice for the unimaginable pain she endured.
