The Science of Whiskey

Join Bourbon House and the Firestone & Robertson (F&R) Distilling Co. for a unique whiskey science Masterclass and tasting led by Rob Arnold, F&R’s Head Distiller and the co-author of Shots of Knowledge: The Science of Whiskey.
The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and socializing, followed by the one hour Masterclass and tasting unlike any Bourbon House has hosted before. Rob will lead us through how distillers utilize both science and art to make whiskey, how whiskey flavor is created and experienced, and what innovations are used to make the TX family of whiskeys.
We’ll be tasting TX Whiskey (2013 Best American Craft Whiskey), TX Bourbon, TX White Dog (not available at retail), and TX Bourbon—Cask Strength Single Barrel (also not available at retail).
Afterwards, Rob will be available to sign copies of his book Shots of Knowledge: The Science of Whiskey
