Our speakers will give short presentations in the private room at the Mid-City Yacht Club (440 S St Patrick St) followed by a panel discussion and audience Q & A. Stick around after to network with fellow local business professionals and get inspired by our local advertising gurus.

Elaina was raised in Washington State where she obtained a degree in Communication specializing in public speaking. Her first job launched her into a promising career in yacht sales, by which she also obtained a 100-ton USCG licensed and worked as a boat captain.....and then ended up in New Orleans working for WWOZ promoting PUBLIC RADIO? Let her tell you her interesting story about why WWOZ is such a magnetic entity, why it's so important to the New Orleans community, and why it's such a valuable vehicle for local marketing!
 

Jeanne Foster

Gambit Weekly
Jeanne has been an employee of Gambit since 2001, serving in various capacities including advertising coordinator and assistant advertising director. She has been the paper’s marketing director since 2008 and their publisher since 2016. Jeanne has served as project manager for many digital projects for Gambit, including client-designed mobile sites and multiple redesigns of Gambit’s website, bestofneworleans.com. She also has headed development for online and print promotions and served as project manager for the company’s special events, including the Gambit Food Revue.
